Why FormFlow works differently

Most online PDF tools upload your file to a server, process it there and send it back. That is a lot of trust to hand over for a document with your Social Security number, your signature or your child's medical details on it. FormFlow does the work inside your browser instead, using open-source PDF libraries that run on your own device. The page loads once; after that, your files never travel anywhere.

FormFlow is deliberately focused. It doesn't merge, compress or convert files — it does forms, signatures and phone scans, and tries to do them really well: fields detected where they sit on the page, a signature pad that feels natural under a thumb, and fillable forms that work in every PDF reader your recipients might use.

Common questions

Is FormFlow free?

Yes. Every tool on FormFlow is free to use, with no account, no watermark and no daily limit. Because your files are processed by your own browser, there are no servers to pay for per file.

Are my documents uploaded?

No. When you open a PDF, your browser reads it from your device and does all the work locally. The file is never sent to FormFlow or anyone else, which is why the tools keep working if you go offline after the page loads.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. FormFlow is designed for phones first: you can draw a signature with your finger, drag items with one hand, and download the finished PDF to Files or your Downloads folder.

Can FormFlow send a document out for signature?

No. FormFlow does not send emails or collect signatures from other people online. You can have several people sign on the same device, or download the PDF and send it yourself.
